Bangkok Hospital understood the urgency. First-party data was becoming the foundation of modern marketing, and waiting meant falling behind. But the Hospital Information System — their richest source of patient data — was untouchable. Sensitive, regulated, and protected at policy level, it would not open to a new data concept without lengthy governance processes. Marketing needed to start collecting data now. The HIS would not wait for them, and the market would not wait for the HIS.

After evaluating several CDP platforms, none fit cleanly. Some were overkill for the current need. Some were too thin to grow into. Others demanded customisation that would take longer than building from scratch. The answer was a proprietary first-party data platform — purpose-built around exactly what Bangkok Hospital needed to collect today, with an architecture designed to connect to the HIS the moment policy permitted. In the meantime, the platform would stand on its own: capturing website behaviour, building audience intent profiles, and giving marketing the intelligence they had been waiting for.
What We Built
Designed and built a custom first-party data platform collecting only what Bangkok Hospital needed — website behaviour, content engagement, and topic-level intent signals — without touching any clinical data.
Engineered the data architecture to be compatible with Bangkok Hospital's HIS from day one, so the two systems can be connected without rebuilding when policy opens the door.
Designed and launched Better Club — a gamified membership layer on top of the CDP that incentivises visitors and prospects to engage with the website and voluntarily share personal data in exchange for value.
Translated website behaviour data into actionable audience segments and content intent signals — giving the marketing team a real understanding of what each visitor cares about, before they ever become a patient.
Built attribution logic that connects Better Club member journeys from first website visit through to hospital appointment — making marketing revenue traceable for the first time.
